Matcha Overnight Oats with Dark Chocolate Recipe

Crack open your dark chocolate topping to reveal sliced banana, yoghurt and gooey matcha oats. We can't think of a better way to fuel your busy morning.

What are overnight oats?

Overnight oats are oats which are not cooked but instead soak up liquid overnight, so that they are soft and ready to eat in the morning.

No pan or heat required, all you need to do is mix your oats with plant-based milk and flavourings, pop them into the fridge then let the oats (and time) do the hard work for you!

Matcha Overnight Oats

We will add Magic Matcha to almost anything, but this recipe really does work perfectly. Adding your matcha green tea powder to the oats the night before allows them to soak up its wonderful flavour and colour.

With ceremonial grade Japanese matcha, Lion's Mane mushroom, ashwagandha and ginger - your gooey overnight oats will be full of superfood goodness to keep you optimally fuelled and focused.

The Health Benefits of Dark Chocolate

This recipe contains chocolate and it's healthy, we're good to you like that.

But we can't take all the credit, as dark chocolate is naturally a nutritional powerhouse. Perhaps surprisingly, dark chocolate (anything over 50% cocoa) is a great source of iron, magnesium, zinc, vitamin B12 and antioxidants.

Dark chocolate is a great swap for milk chocolate, which contains added butter, milk and sugar but with much lower amounts of the beneficial nutrients. Dark chocolate also has a much more grown up and sophisticated taste, which works perfectly with the matcha.

Here's the recipe!
